Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia Rosaly, is an Spanish singer from flamenco. Since she was a teenager Rosalia has delved into the dark side of pop and traditional music. The flamenco guitar player Pepe habichuela has described her voice as sweet and sharp, but still with the bite of older singers. El Mal Querer is her 2nd album, which was that was released in the year 2018, and was critically and commercially successful. After Los Angeles, her debut album, released in 2017, got an award from the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as an Latin Grammy nod. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. Motomami will be her third album. The singer collaborated with a variety of musicians and producers like Cory Henry. The album was released in March 2022 following a performance of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing on her own on the program. Motomami Rosala, in addition to winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first woman to receive both awards.
