Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a musical family. She was raised listening to classical and old boleros, along with traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana is an avid fan of Tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas as well as any theatrical performance. After singing with her mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous singing lessons at the age of 16 under the tutelage of renown Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. When she was a student, and a young professional, she sang with many chamber groups and opera choruses in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and performs Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. Her love and passion in music, art and performing has her involved in many local projects as a teacher and performer. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing the traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to do the same.
